What are the Updates?

WeatherCenter Updates are periodic emails sent to Mid-Atlantic WX.com subscribers. The Updates primary purpose is to alert you about severe weather in the Mid-Atlantic region. We also discuss potential severe weather events, tropical storms and hurricanes, winter storms, Nor'easters and tornadoes. Updates also review medium range weather outlooks and sprinkle in a little humor along the way.

Hurricane Season note: We receive numerous new members during hurricane season. Our policy is to send an Update whenever a new T.D. or Tropical Storm develops. We then send daily Updates beginning three days prior to a projected US landfall. Updates devoted to tropical systems will have the storm's number or name in the "subject" line of your email.

NOTE: the Updates do NOT include local forecasts from the National Weather Service. Please refer to the WeatherCenter Page for your local  forecast.
